نستخدم الضمير بدلا من الاسم عندما نكون على علم مع من أو عن أي شيء نتحدث وحسب موقعه من الجملة فنستعمل الضمائر حسب موقع الاسم من الجملة كما هو أدناه:
We use a pronouns instead of a noun when it is clear who or what we are talking about and we use it according to the position of the name in the sentence as below:
ضمائر الفاعل: وتعمل محل الفاعل
Subject Pronouns: I, you, he, she, it, we, you. they. serve as a subject
I live in UAE.
Do you like playing tennis?
He doesn't want to come this evening.
She works in Duabi.

Object Pronouns - me, you, him, her, it, us, you, them serve as the object of a verb.

The teacher asked you to finish your homework.
I invited them to a party.
ضمائر الملكية والتي تدل على ملكية الشئ للشخص.
ملاحظة: ان ضمائر الملكية mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours, theirs شبيهه بصفات الملكية my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their والأختلاف هو أن المفعول به يتبع صفات الملكية
مثل: That is my book. بينما لا يتبعه في حالة ضمائر الملكية مثل: That book is mine
Possessive Pronouns - mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, yours, theirs. show that something belongs to someone. Note that the possessive pronouns are similar to possessive adjectives (my, his, her). The difference is that the object follows the possessive adjective but does not follow the possessive pronoun. For example - Possessive Pronoun: That book is mine. - Possessive Adjective: That is my book.
That house is mine.
This is yours.
I'm sorry, that's his.
Those books are hers.
Those students are ours.
Look over there, those seats are yours.
Theirs will be green.
صفات الملكية: وهي تتشابه مع ضمائر الملكية ولكن صفات الملكية تصف الاسم الذي يتبعها لكي تظهر ملكيته.
Possessive adjectives - my, your, his, her, its, our, your, their are often confused with possessive pronouns. The possessive adjective modifies the noun following it in order to show possession.
I'll get my books.
Is that your car over there?
That is his teacher, Mr Ahmad.
I want to go to her store.
Its color is red.
Can we bring our children?
You are welcome to invite your husbands.
They bought their children a lot of presents

A reflexive pronoun is a special kind of pronoun. It is usually used when the object of a sentence is the same as the subject., as you will see below. حالات استعمال الضمائر الانعكاسية:
1) When the subject and object are the same عندما يكون الفاعل والمفعول به نفس النوع
Example:
I hurt myself.
He shot himself
2) As the object of a preposition, referring to the subject عندما يكون المفعول به حرف جر يعود إلى الفاعل
Example:
I bought a present for myself.
She did it by herself.
That man is talking to himself.
3) When you want to emphasize the subject عندما نريد تأكيد الفاعل
Example:
I'll do it myself. (No-one else will help me.)
They ate all the food themselves. (No-one else had any.)
أسماء الإشارة (كما عرفناها) ومنقول من الانترنت تحت اسم ضمائر الاشارة
Demonstrative Pronouns - this, that, these, those refer to things. 'this' and 'these' refer to something that is near. 'that' and 'those' refer to things that are farther away.
This is my house.
That is our car over there.
These are my colleagues in this room.
Those are beautiful flowers in the next field.
This; that; these; those; none and neither are Demonstrative Pronouns that substitute nouns when the nouns they replace can be understood from the context. They also indicate whether they are replacing singular or plural words and give the location of the object:
EXAMPLES OF DEMONSTRATIVE PRONOUNS:
This: singular and near the speaker
That: singular and at a distance from the speaker
These: plural and near the speaker
Those: plural and at a distance from the speaker
Eg. 1.: You take these bags and I'll take those. - ("Those" refers to bags that are at a distance from the speaker.)
Eg. 2: We bought this last year - ("This" refers to something that is sing., near the speaker and readily understood in the context of the conversation.)
Demonstrative adjectives (this, that, these, those) show whether the noun they refer to is singular or plural and whether it is located near to or far from the speaker or writer.
